Vineyard Comprehensive Cancer Campus

Huntsman Cancer Institute will build a Comprehensive Cancer Campus in Utah County.

As the region's only dedicated cancer specialty hospital and National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, we will bring compassionate care and lifesaving research closer to more communities.

This campus will be built in one of the fastest growing regions in the country.

Planning today will allow us to meet the long-term needs of our region.

Why is Huntsman Cancer Institute expanding to Utah County?

Many patients from Utah County already travel to Huntsman Cancer Institute for care. At the same time, Utah County, as well as the state and region, are growing at a rapid pace and we recognized the need to plan now to meet the long-term needs of our communities. This campus will enhance collaboration with distinguished nearby academic institutions, like Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University, and enable new projects in innovation with business partners. We were honored to be invited by the Utah County community to build a comprehensive cancer campus, advancing health, wellness, and innovation.

How can I support this project?

There are many ways that you can support this project. Currently, we are raising funds to build Phase 1 of this future cancer campus. Donations of all sizes are welcome and through the collective effort of our community, we are excited about what's possible. As the campus takes shape, there will be volunteer opportunites including community engagement, event assistance and others. Please email [email protected]. to explore what might be possible.

What will be included in Phase 1?

Programs and services to be offered reflect those currently used by patients who travel to Huntsman Cancer Institute from Utah County and adjacent areas. Each year, more than 40,000 trips occur and we expect that number to grow. All services of our mission will come in our first phase: research, clinical care, and education/outreach. Looking to the future, Huntsman Cancer Institute will expand and grow the Vineyard Comprehensive Cancer Campus as the need for expanded services arise. Just like the flagship campus in Salt Lake, each Phase was completed in a thoughtful way, informed by community needs and in alignment with our strategic plans.

Are there floorplans?

We will have images and floorplans as we get closer to the ceremonial groundbreaking on April 8, 2025.

What named space opportunities are there?

There will be many opportunities to honor an individual or family through named spaces in both our clinical and research buildings. More information will be available as we get closer to the ceremonial groundbreaking on April 8, 2025.

When will the project be completed?

The first phase is projected to open to patients in January 2029.
