Run/Create Your Own Virtual Experience Options: Run outside, find a trail and take a hike, play backyard games with your family, or find another way to virtually do an activity!
Ride Options: Any distance you want! You can still ride 25, 50, 75, 100, or 140 miles.

RUN, RIDE, SUPPORT CANCER RESEARCH

Our mantra is “Cancer moves fast and WE have to move faster.” The Huntsman SportsFest is usually an endurance event bringing runners, walkers, and cyclists together for more than just an athletic challenge, but also for a day of fighting cancer by supporting research at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). This year instead of hosting an in-person event, the event will be held virtually. The event will still bring runners, walkers, cyclists, and supporters together for a day of fighting cancer just from the road, a trail, your backyard, or even from your couch. Join as an individual, a family, or a socially-distant team, and run, walk, or ride with us on June 20.

Participants can invite their friends and families to virtually participate with them and to donate to their personal fundraising web page. 100% of funds raised support cancer research at HCI.

VIRTUAL HUNTSMAN RUN

The Virtual Huntsman Run/Create Your Own Virtual Experience is a run, walk, or activity from wherever you are. We have reimagined this year’s run experience so it is accessible to all. Although we can’t be physically together on June 20, we invite you to find the best way to participate while continuing to support cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). Make participating in the Virtual Huntsman Run one of the highlights of your summer and join our incredible virtual cancer fighting community!

VIRTUAL HUNTSMAN RIDE

The Virtual Huntsman Ride is an epic ride from wherever you are. We have reimagined this year’s ride experience so it is accessible to all. And although we can’t ride together on June 20, we invite you to find the best way to get your miles in, while continuing to support cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). Make riding in the Virtual Huntsman Ride one of the highlights of your summer and join our incredible virtual cancer fighting community!

Why Support Huntsman Cancer Institute

With management of the Utah Population Database (UPDB), Huntsman Cancer Institute houses the world’s largest repository of health and genealogic records in the world. More genetic mutations responsible for inherited forms of cancer have been discovered at Huntsman Cancer Institute than anywhere else in the world. The genes for breast, ovarian, melanoma, head and neck cancer, colon cancer, and more, were all discovered here.
